Things are all running a bit late today, as I have just gotten back down from Inverness from this years goNorth festival and boy do I feel rough. For those of you don't already know, it's basically a music industry event with panels and showcase gigs. Essentially I have come to the conclusion that it's a good excuse for anyone involved in Scottish music to get together for 3 days and get smashed together, or at least that's what I did. Hence I am now suffering the consequences of my debauchery, I might try and write a bit more about it all later in the week when I am in less pain. One of the bands who played at this years event were French Wives, a band who I have liked a lot for a while now, sadly I didn't manage to see them as myself, Matthew from Song By Toad and Jason The Pop Cop were putting on our own wee gig with Indian Red Lopez, LightGuides, PAWS and Kid Canaveral. Fucking awesome it was too.
