Would you care to introduce yourself?
We are Alexander, Agnes and Grant, we are definitely living in Edinburgh at the moment. We may have met on the small Island of Fårö on the south-eastern coast of Sweden where we perhaps lived above a radar installation station and were almost certainly exposed to and developed a supranatural infinity with feed-back hum and static wow & flutter.
People are apt to comment that we don’t look like Swedes, but then again people from Sweden never really do.
How would you describe the music you make?
Minimalist, experimental, pop, ecstatic
How did you start out making music?
It was therapy for a tinnitus that turned out to be a low level possession.
What process goes into the way you write songs?
We take the vodka out of the freezer and as its temperature drops ours rises.
What can people expect from your live shows?
Like a film projected inside out.
What are you all listening to at the moment?
An industrial lazer running down. A smoke machine warming up.
What can we expect to see/hear from you in the future?
More but different and better. We've been listening to a lot of rhythmic Finnish music, which has had a great impact on our future sound. With a narrower mercantile eye- we're playing at the opening of the Edinburgh Art Festival on August 1 and in Dundee on September 7 (supporting their City of Culture bid – we love Dundee it reminds us of Gothenburg not just for the Goths < ho-ho wee svenska in-joke> and Berlin on September 21 at the Bunker in Kreuzberg.
