Would you care to introduce yourself?
Galo-shins, Galushins, goulishins, ga-losh-ins..... haha we hear different pronunciations!
How would you describe the music you make?
A description we like by James T. Mackay at the 13th note: Weird and wonderful, pure madcap energy, a furiously silly whirlwind of psych, jazz, freakbeat and aggro-pop.
How did you start out making music?
Under the influence of great music and with good people (and w ith naive hopes and dreams)
What process goes into the way you write songs?
Sometimes its from the back catalogue, other times its from rehearsal work, just whatever gets the mind jangling.
What can people expect from your live shows?
Energy, happy accidents and good times
What are you all listening to at the moment?
Collectively Paddy Steer. Individually too many to mention but here goes....kraut, psych, classical, noise, jazz, avant garde , soundtracks, metal, math rock, spoken word ......
What can we expect to see/hear from you in the future?
We will be playing Nice n Sleazys on Friday 8th Feb to launch our newest recording - EP2 - via Armellodie Records, with support from Paddy Steer, Fur Hood and Giblets of Yesterday. Livewise, we want to play more gigs (maybe a summer tour) and would like to curate some gigs with bands we have been playing with over the last few years. And in among that we will be recording EP 3 & 4 and hopefully making some videos which we’re still to get the hang of, so we see how it swings.
