Friday Freebies


Murder Mystery
Some times things pop into my inbox that just make my day that little but more sunny. This week I got an email from New York indie pop/rock group Murder Mystery, who wanted to point me in the direction of a couple of free downloads that they had just posted on their website. I'm chuffed that they did as they're a couple of class wee pop tunes, I am defo going to be trying to find out more.

Your Neighbour The Liar
The Edinburgh four piece are back with new EP 'Welcome to a Life of Insecurity and Paralyzing Self​-​doubt' which they've only gone and posted up for free download on their Bandcamp page.

Arran Arctic
Former Fresh Meat-starlet Arran Arctic has a posted his new single, 'The Door' which is taken from his forthcoming album 'In My Hands', up for free on his website.

The Edinburgh A'cappella folkster has posted a new tune called 'Nem Tha Choo', it's about football. Mental as fuck, yet utterly brilliant at the same time.

The Thermals
Another cracking band from Portland, seriously how fucking amazing is it out there in Oregon?! There is a free download of their new song 'I Don't Believe You' up for grabs on Stereogum.

Baddies
They decided to record 'We beat our chests' in German and now they've posted it up for as a free download. Jus click the linkto get yourself a copy of 'Wir schalgen unsere brust'.

Paws
Yet another excellent new free download from those wonderful folk at Wiseblood Industries, this time it's Paws new single Violet Vicky Violet. Download it here.

I guess most of you will already have this, I know I posted it before, but this time 'Baby Lee' is up for free download over on Amazon.

The label has posted a free download of their 'F/NF Summer Mix Tape 2010' featuring lots of stuff I have never heard of, but some kind fellow called Keith swears by it. Which is good enought for me.

The doc has pulled another wee corker out of the bag this week, with some "beeeautifully summery jingly-jangly pop" from Glasgow's very own The Martial Arts. They have a free download of their album "Your Sinclair" here. Good work that man!
