Brendan Losch
Today's tasty little treat comes from a Chicago based singer-song writer by the name of Brendan Losch, who is currently giving away a shed load of his back material to download over at his Bandcamp. He describes himself as “Low and Slow", if you are looking for a good starting point I'd go with the EP on his Bandcamp.
Kudos goes out to the ever wonderful Tarty Tart who does the excellent Love Shack Baby blog for bringing him to my attention.

The Morning Benders
American indie popsters, The Morning Benders, have posted a new track from their forthcoming album Big Echo, which was produced by Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear. I caught these guys at festival in San Francisco, on my honeymoon, yes my wife is sound enough to let me drag her to concerts even on the most romantic holiday of our life, what girl. Anyway, they really impressed me at the time and this song really feels like a step up from their debut album. Hey, thanks for the post. The 50 songs on Bandcamp are from a song a week challenge that I did in 2008, where all of the songs were recorded minutes after writing them. A new full-length, Low, is in the works and will be released sometime soon. Thanks again.
