If you are at a loose end on Thursday night, or if the appeal of watching soaps all night doesn't quite appeal, then you should head along to Pivo Pivo this Thursday night (the 19th) for three cracking local bands. They would be Croy-based band Campfires In Winter (Boab's band in case you didn't already know), The Morgue Party Candidate and Macabre Scene all for the princely sum of £3, a pound a band, you can't complain at that. If you haven't heard of any of them before (shame on you), then you can have listen to their Myspace's below, or download an MP3 which each of the bands have kindly provided. I caught MPC and the Macabre boys on Saturday at Define Pop, both really good live, as for Campfires in Winter, it goes without saying that they'll be good, or at least they better be as Boab's promised me "it'll be like being ear sexed...in the ear!!! ". If you do make it along, then I'll be the beardie boy who will not be "dancing like a tit"à la Saturday night.
