Despite an audience quite literally from 8 to 80 (it was a History of Scotland show)GHTG played a short set of intelligent,melodic and dynamic songs.Backed by a full orchestra the sound was brilliant despite Stuart at one stage saying 'my head feels as though its about to expode'.A bit strange maybe to play to an audience more suited (in clothing as well) to a classical concert but I think most were won over.Suprise of the night was the appearance of Neil Hannon to sing 'Perfection as a Hipster'.Great performance but only Stuart knows why time and place cannot be found for a full performance of some of the best songs released this year.
