Introducing - Homework

Edinburgh's Homework have been gathering a fair bit of steam recently, with a slot at this years T in the Park and airplay on Radio Scotland and a cracking debut EP under their belt they are another fine addition to the ever growing number of great bands to emerge from the capital. Seriously what is going on in the East Coast?!
Formed in 2008 the band originally hail from all over the place (Inverness, Mull and Dumfries, to be exact)

Citing their influences from a wide variety of acts including Wilco, The Chemical Brothers, Cinematic Orchestra and Talking Heads, the band could be best described as electronic indie, but then that would be selling them short. On 'All I See' the lead track of their debut EP the band have produced one of the most infectious songs of the year, if you don't believe me then listen to it below.

If this sounds like it'd be right up your street then you can check out their debut EP 'Sleepless Nights' which should be up on iTunes in the next couple of weeks, or alternatively you can buy a physical copy for £3 (+P&P) by messaging the band through their Myspace.

Homework play the GRV Festival in Edinburgh on the 15th of august,
followed by a night at Box in Glasgow on the 16th.
