As someone who as recently succumbed to fashion trends and bought himself a cardie, it made me think how conscious I am of fashion trends. If I was to think about it seriously, two or three years ago how likely would it have been that I would even have considered the idea of wearing a cardigan as being vaguely fashionable, yet now I am a cardie owner and a proud one at that.
Will this trend last, I doubt it, but at least in a few years from now I'll be of an age that I'll be expected to be 'card-ied' up and like a good boy scout, I'll be (no not buggered up the arse) prepared.
